Data handling

This page summarises how MVP Foundry SLU stores, secures and shares the data you entrust to DevOpsHunt. It complements our Privacy Policy with the operational detail.

What we store

• Account and authentication details.
• Profile, skills, preferences and any CV or résumé you upload.
• Activity such as saved jobs, applications and tool usage.
• Transaction records for credits and subscriptions.

Where and how it is stored

Data is held in access-controlled cloud infrastructure. Connections to the service are encrypted in transit (TLS), and data is stored on managed, access-restricted systems. Access to production data is limited to personnel who need it to operate and support the service.

Processors we rely on

We use a small set of third-party providers to run DevOpsHunt. Each acts as a processor under contractual data-protection terms and only handles the data needed for its function:

• Hosting & database — running the application and storing your data.
• Email delivery — sending account, alert and transactional messages.
• Payments — processing purchases of credits and subscriptions; card details are handled by the provider, not stored by us.
• AI processing — powering features such as résumé parsing, salary estimation and interview preparation. Content sent for these features is processed to return your result and is not used to train third-party models without a basis to do so.

How your data is shared

Your profile is private by default. Information is shared with an employer or recruiter only when you take an action that implies it — applying to a role, making your talent profile visible, or responding to a message. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, retaining only limited records where a legal or legitimate-interest basis requires it (for example accounting and fraud prevention).

Your controls

• View and edit your profile, preferences and uploaded documents in your account settings.
• Manage or unsubscribe from alerts and marketing emails at any time.
• Delete your account to remove your personal data.
• Request access, correction, export or erasure by emailing devopshunt@ext.mvpfoundry.com.

Security incidents

We maintain measures to detect and respond to security incidents. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
