Last updated: 5 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MVP Foundry SLU (“DevOpsHunt”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use the DevOpsHunt website and services. By using DevOpsHunt you agree to the practices described here.

Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email address and authentication details when you sign up or sign in.
  • Profile and career data — skills, experience, location preferences, salary expectations and any CV or résumé you upload to power job matching and salary intelligence.
  • Usage data — jobs you view, save or apply to, and interactions with our tools, used to improve recommendations and the service.
  • Billing data — purchases of credits and subscriptions are processed by our payment provider; we store records of transactions but not full card details.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and cookies necessary to run the service securely.

How we use your data

  • To provide the job board, match scoring, salary intelligence and AI tools you request.
  • To create and secure your account and process payments.
  • To send service messages, job alerts and updates you have opted into.
  • To improve, analyse and protect the service against abuse and fraud.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

Legal bases

We process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), where we have a legitimate interest (improving and securing the service), with your consent (for example marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time), and where required to meet a legal obligation.

Sharing your data

We share data with service providers who help us operate DevOpsHunt — such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing and AI processing — under agreements that require them to protect it. When you apply to a job or make your talent profile visible, relevant profile information is shared with the employer or recruiter concerned. We do not sell your personal data. See our Data handling page for more detail on processors and retention.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. Much of this is available directly in your account settings; for anything else, email devopshunt@ext.mvpfoundry.com.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data except where we must retain limited records (for example for accounting or fraud-prevention purposes).

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication and the secure operation of the service, and to understand how the product is used so we can improve it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
